Mini & Holland Babies

Posted by anonymous on March 9, 2010 at 3:00 AM Comments comments (0)

It is 3 a.m. and I just went to check on the moms. Nothing yet...Grrr. The black Mini lop started pulling hair so I've still got my fingers crossed for her, but again she will be a first time mom. DD, my holland isn't pulling hair yet, buy isn't eating her hay in the nest box either so that may be a good sign.  My plan was since the Mini is a first time mom, Hopefully DD would have her babies at the same time and that way she could foster a few. Saving a few is better than none. Hopefully the Mini will surprise me though...I'll give another update when I wake..Nite!

The goal

I'm really excited about this year. My goal for this year, is to get more of my own stock here, and the rest turned around in time, anyone that breeds rabbits, know this isn't a short process! I'm looking forward to everything I have in store for me this year. I want to get more into showing my own rabbits, which again, will take time. I've only got 3 of Happy Heart's to show so far, so I'll be putting them on the table in March to see how they do for me, Hopefully I'll get some blue's!I still will be selling this year, but not as many since I'm trying to keep some of my own stock. The others that I will be turning around that are not my name will be sold, when I can let them go.

Have a nice day!

I decided to go ahead and go with my first idea, which was to sell my Jerseys. I'll be buying some more Hollands and Mini Lops, just as soon as I can find some good ones.I want to have some diffrent colors within the Rabbitry. I'll be going to the Rabbit Show in March, so Hopefully I'll be able to find some good colors there.

I decided to go ahead and bred my Jersey Woolys. I may keep them, but If not I'll try and sell them at the Aylett show in March...

I have decided after the sell my last Jersey Woolys to just carry Hollands and Mini Lops.

This way I can concentrate on only two breeds. I'm really excited about this change, but If you are looking for a Breed I no longer carry, feel free to email me and I'll try my best to find you what you are looking for!
